PANews October 10 news: According to monitoring by blockchain security firm Salus, the Triple-A attacker has transferred 4,970 ETH (approximately $12.4 million) into Tornado Cash. The hacker stole assets from the proprietary vault of payment service provider Triple-A in July of this year, with publicly estimated losses of about $11.8 million. After bridging the funds to Ethereum and swapping them, the attacker split the funds into two intermediate addresses on September 6; on October 9, they were consolidated through a single wallet and deposited into Tornado Cash in 56 transactions total: 49 transactions of 100 ETH and 7 transactions of 10 ETH, with one of the fund flows also containing an earlier mixer withdrawal. Triple-A previously said the incident did not affect customer funds.
