Ledger confirms unauthorized hardware implant in affected users' devices

Southeast Asian distributor CryptoBilis has confirmed that it will suspend the sale of all hardware wallet inventory until the investigation is concluded. Ledger stated that there is currently no indication that its security infrastructure, systems, or services have been compromised, and advised users who purchased devices from this distributor not to proceed with initialization setup. Previously, analysts said that losses from theft involving CryptoBilis-related users may exceed $86 million.
