BlockBeats news, on October 2, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost posted that Bitcoin is currently approaching the average cost price range of the two major holding groups: the cost price of investors with a holding period of 18 months to 2 years is approximately $88,350, and the cost price of investors with a holding period of 6 to 12 months is approximately $89,200.
Darkfost pointed out that the cost price is not a natural support or resistance level, but the average position cost of the group. As prices approach this range, the behavior of associated investors may change, so this area should be viewed as a potential risk area.
Among them, the investor group that has held for 6 to 12 months has been losing money for nearly a year as a whole, and some investors may have bought at the market's high point. Next, some investors may choose to sell as they wait to recover their capital, while others may continue to buy to reduce holding costs. Darkfost believes that both types of behavior may affect Bitcoin’s current upward momentum.
